Pivot Pin Installation Tool

Pivot Pin Installation Tool.  This pivot pin tool eases the installation of the pivot pin spring and detent.  Is this tool required?  No.  But it sure makes this assembly step much easier.

STEPS
1.   Simply push the pin in from the opposite side that the pivot pin goes in from.

2.   Line up the hole in the pin with the hole in the receiver.

3.   Place the pivot pin spring in the hole.

4.   Place the detent in the hole.

5.    Use a punch or paper clip to push the pivot pin detent and spring down while you rotate the pin.

6.     Use the pivot pin to push the pivot pin tool out.  Doing this, the pivot pin tool will hold the detent down, so it will not go flying across the room.
